Apply First Aid

This unit is nationally accredited allowing students to gain the confidence required when dealing with an adult or child casualty. The course is offered in a flexible way with students completing a workbook before attending a six hour practical session.

Areas covered include:

  • Treatment for a range of injuries including: abdominal, allergic reactions, bleeding, burns, cardiac arrest, choking, eye and ear, neck and spinal, needle stick, soft tissue, dislocations, bites, hypothermia, hyperthermia, dehydration, fractures, asthma, seizures, shock, emergency CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), legislation/regulations and OH&S responsibilities plus more

Wednesday, 7th March 2012 - 9.30am to 4.00pm  
NB students must complete workbook and submit 1 week prior to attending class
