BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat
In 1986 we began with a philosophy of providing young people with employment opportunities to reach their full potential and to provide employers with well skilled and suitable staff. While today, we offer a much broader range of services, our original philosophy remains as strong as ever to create positive life-stories for our local youth and the wider community.
Like many careers, ours is a story of change, determination and most of all growth. BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat now provide various entry level qualifications, employment and assistance programs to all members of our local community.
We’re extremely proud to have helped write, and in some cases rewrite, the story of so many local people’s lives by providing the critical assistance, knowledge, and employment early on, so that their career can deliver the outstanding personal success that so many of our graduates enjoy.

Barkly Square
The Barkly Square precinct has been a hub for learning since 1862. Through the efforts of a broad range of stakeholders, it is being transformed into a vibrant and green community centre focusing on education, training and employment outcomes in the Central Highlands and surrounding regions.
BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat are proud to be the lead tenant at Barkly Square, leading this transformational change alongside our tenants.

BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat were absolutely thrilled to be awarded the Stoke Design Co. Not for Profit Business Award at the Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards in 2024.
The aim of the Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards is to showcase, celebrate and support our local businesses in all that they have achieved, and contribute to our city.
BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat were very proud to receive the award in the Not for Profit category, especially amongst such deserving nominees.
