Hosting a trainee through BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat
We can assist businesses seeking a trainee – we place the ad and conduct the interviews, then send the best candidates to you for selection. We also provide ongoing support and mentoring, making this a mutually beneficial relationship.
We provide high level, continual assistance to employers who can see the benefits of hosting a trainee in their business.

Paid Traineeships, with a duration of 12 - 18 months, enable young people to work while earning money - a very attractive option for today's workforce.
Trainees are placed in a vocational area, such as office administration, hospitality or information technology. When a trainee completes their traineeship successfully, they receive a minimum of a Certificate 2 in their chosen vocation (generally 1-2 years).
