Course Details

The Construction Induction Card (White Card) is required for any individual who:

• Is employed to work on a construction site
• May be required to enter a construction site for work purposes
• Has a White Card but hasn’t worked in the construction industry in the previous 2 years.

Course content:

Our construction Induction Training (or White Card) will cover:

• OHS legislative requirements
• Construction hazards and control measures
• OHS communication and reporting procedures
• OHS incident and response procedures
• As well as valuable insight into the industry from our experienced trainer.

Upon course completion, you will receive:

• Statement of attainment for the unit CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
• Victorian WorkSafe issued 'White Card', received via post.

Course Requirements:

• Learners must be of working age as per the Victorian Legislative Requirements (minimum 15 years of age)
• If under the age of 18 learners will require guardian permission to participate in this course.
• BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat require a minimum number of participants per course. Courses may be cancelled and/or rescheduled if participant numbers do not meet minimum requirements and enrolled learners will be notified up to 24 hours prior to course commencement time with details of alternative courses.

In order for a learner to have their booking and enrolment in course confirmed, we require all of the following:

• completed enrolment forms.
• A valid Medicare card and valid form of photo ID.
• Full payment must be finalised 24 hours prior to course commencement.
