BGT currently have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice chef to join the team at Ballarat Basketball.

As an Apprentice Chef, you will learn important knife skills, menu planning, food safety and hygiene as well as how to prepare food for our café and restaurant areas.

You will work within a fun and friendly team environment where you will be valued and supported as you complete your apprenticeship and develop into a top chef.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Demonstrate a positive can do attitude
• Have the ability to cater for, Functions, Restaurant, Café, Catering and Tounaments
• Enjoy hands-on work and working within a fast paced environment
• Be passionate about all things cooking
• Understand the importance of working in a team environment and value your own contribution to the team
• Have a passion for learning and personal growth to successfully complete your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery during your apprenticeship
